Kody & Meghan's Wedding - Cutten Fields in Guelph
Their special day FINALLY came!! These two booked me what feels like forever ago, it was before covid was a thing!! They inquired with me back in March of 2019 - and then because of covid had to make the decision to reschedule their wedding! They decided to have an elopement with their closest family, and celebrate with all of their friends and family later on!
I am so SO grateful to have met these two beautiful kind people, and I am so blessed that I got to capture not only their wedding but their engagement, their elopement, plus a little mini couples session while we waited for the wedding, and finally their actual wedding celebration!! I hope to capture many more photos for these two in the future and whatever adventures life brings them!
"We met at Humber College and both went to school there but didn't start dating until the fall, after we both had graduated. Kody messaged me on Facebook early one morning and we talked every day and became best friends. Some of our best memories are spending time with our families in Stratford, Oakville and Toronto and travelling together. We love to go own drives together and find new rivers, trails and photo spots. We've had great vacation time spent together at Stoney Lake and both worked at the Blyth Festival in Blyth, ON. We got engaged on the first full day of our trip to Ireland in the fall of 2018 - Kody surprised me and we got to call each other "fiancés" for the rest of the trip! After postponing our wedding for two years due to Covid-19, we got married in a small ceremony in Harrington, ON in June 2021 - a little spot just outside of Stratford that we love to visit. We are so excited to celebrate and have a wedding with all of our family and friends present!"
I also like to ask what each of them is most excited for on their wedding day: Meghan said: "I am most excited about getting to have the wedding with all of our friends and family present - I am so excited to be with everyone and have an epic dance party at the reception! I'm also really excited as I ordered photo pillows of Phil & Phoebe as props for the photo booth! It will just be so much fun to celebrate with everyone. I'm also really excited to wear my wedding dress that I've had since 2019!" Kody said: "I am most excited for celebrating with friends and family!
